A business degree is one of the most versatile and popular of college degrees. When a student chooses to get a business degree with a concentration in marketing, the degree becomes even more useful and provides a great deal more opportunity. Marketing can be applied to nearly any field and is much more than simply selling a product or service. Marketing majors take classes in communications, advertising, accounting, art, graphic design, psychology, and more to get the skills needed to analyze potential audiences and to design campaigns that will bring the results needed. Students who wish to pursue a marketing degree can find many marketing scholarships that will help pay for the cost of school, allowing them to graduate with less student debt.
