Dixie Boys Baseball Bernie Varnadore Scholarship Program

This scholarship program provides eleven scholarships, worth $1,250 each. To qualify, students must be outstanding high school seniors who have participated in a Dixie Boys Baseball franchised program and who plan to pursue an undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Applications are accepted between January 1 and April 1 each year and recipients are chosen May 1. To apply, students must submit the completed application form, Financial Statement, two letters of recommendation, statement of Dixie Boys participation, personal essay, and a copy of transcripts along with ACT or SAT results. Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi Scholarships

The Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi provides a number of scholarships to qualified applicants. The Misticos Scholarships are awarded to four students, one girl and three boys, who are of the Greek Orthodox or Episcopal Faiths. The Warren Scholarships are given to both boys and girls, but preference is given to young women. These awards are for students who show financial need and excel in academic achievement, leadership, church leadership, and extracurricular involvement. Capers Scholarships are for Episcopal college students who are receiving a liberal arts education. Okolona Scholarships are available for black male or female college students from Mississippi who show need, academic excellence, and leadership potential, with preference being given to Episcopalians. Finally, the Adams Episcopal Scholarships are for undergraduate students who are active members of a congregation of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Mississippi and who intend to attend the business or engineering college at Mississippi State University. SAE Engineering Scholarships

Scholarships through this program are available to both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. The scholarships range in value from $400 to full tuition costs. Criteria for recipients are established and judged by individual universities. Once a recipient receives an award, they may not transfer the scholarship to another university. Students who have not applied to the college or university of choice by January 15 will be disqualified from receiving scholarship funds. ASTA Southeast Chapter Professional Development Scholarship

To be eligible for these scholarships, students must be permanent residents of the United States, and must have at least two years of experience in the travel industry. In addition, applicants must be individual members of the ASTA Southeast Chapter. To apply, students must submit the application along with proof of permanent residency, a resume, an employment verification form, and a one-page essay.
