AFCEA Copernicus Foundation Computer Graphic Design

These scholarships are provided to help students pay for their graphic design education. To apply, students must submit transcripts for all college work, two letters of recommendation, original digital artwork, a descriptive text relating to the artwork sample, and the URL of other original work. To be eligible, students must be at least second-year full-time students at an accredited college or university in the United States. Northern Arizona University

The Mary E. Bayless Visual Communication/Graphic Design Scholarship provides $1,000 to an outstanding full-time student who is majoring in Graphic Design or Visual Communication. To be eligible, students must have completed at least 28 credit hours of study with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Recipients will be chosen based on a portfolio review containing ten samples of recent work. 3D Graphic Design Scholarship

DAZ3D is providing a $1,000 scholarship to students studying 3D graphic design and who need financial assistance to cover tuition, books, and other educational costs. To be eligible, students must be legal residents of the United States who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. To apply, students must download the free DAZ Studio software and enter the coupon tracking code. Students must then create a piece of 3D art using the software as a tool or standalone and submit it to before June 1.

Walker Communication Design/Graphic Design Scholarship

The amount of these merit scholarships vary, but cover up to the amount of tuition and books. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of graphic design degree courses at Johnson County Community College. Students must also have completed the majority of the first year of studio courses and have a portfolio of work completed in classes thus far. In addition, students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Archie Boston Graphic Design Scholarship

These $500 to $1,000 scholarships are available to students who participate in the annual portfolio reviews for acceptance into the graphic design program at California State University at Long Beach. The student with the top portfolio wins the award. To apply, students must submit a portfolio by April 1 and be selected as the overall winner by the graphic design program faculty.
